Naruto Volume 15: Naruto's Ninja Handbook

Surprisingly, in the middle of a massive fight, Kishimoto takes a volume to use as character study. It's volumes like these that make me like Naruto. He's presented with someone who has a very similar back story to the one he's just learned of himself and his first inclination is to exhibit sympathy and recognise that if it weren't for the people in his life he could very well be a monster.

And then he starts kicking ass.
